Canada’s Chartered Directors
The Directors College is pleased to present Canada’s Chartered Directors. The graduates listed below have completed The Chartered Director Program, an intensive individual examination, and have met the other requirements to become a Chartered Director (C.Dir.)
The Directors College and the Collège des administrateurs de sociétés (CAS) of Université Laval have a reciprocal agreement, whereby their respective designations – Chartered Director (C.Dir.) and Administrateur de sociétés certifié (ASC) are recognized as equivalent.

Mr. Frank Salvati, C.Dir.
Chief Financial Officer, Sagegate Corporation
Currently, Frank is the Chief Strategy Officer of Tri-Media Integrated Marketing Technologies Inc., a publicly listed company. Previously, and for 4 years, he acted as the principal financial advisor to, and CFO (Chief Financial Officer) of, Silver Eagle Mines Inc. (TSX: "SEG"). He was involved in raising over $50.0M of equity funding, and principally responsible for financial reporting and Prospectus filing deadlines, in addition to dealing with the many governance issues facing companies in the public company domain.
Prior, he was the CFO - and a director - of TVN Niagara Inc., a company vying to become the Niagara (Canada) region's first over-the-air terrestrial broadcast license holder. He secured $20.6M of funding. In addition to funding, he was responsible for ensuring the timely filing of a 1,500 page Application (CRTC#2003-1498-0), proposing the license for the region.
For 2 years, he acted as the CFO of OHEC (Ontario Hydro & Energy and Communications – a subsidiary of OH1), an initiative to privatize electricity in Ontario as part of a convergence strategy with synergistic utilities such as home telephone and Internet – a "One-bill" concept that is prevalent "today".
During the nineties he worked with a private equity consortium and was on the Pearson International Airport dispute resolution team; a Skydome restructuring team; and, acted as the CFO of Mirage Ontario Inc. (affiliated with Mirage Inc., Las Vegas) in advocating, successfully, gaming on both sides of the Niagara Falls border.
Previously, and for 10 years during the eighties, Frank established a career in public accounting as an income tax practitioner, forensic accountant, then real estate consultant.
His academic pursuits have resulted in a CMC (2009), CDir (2008), MBA (2005), CFE (1991), CPA (1986), CA (1985), and BBM (1983).
