Canada’s Chartered Directors
The Directors College is pleased to present Canada’s Chartered Directors. The graduates listed below have completed The Chartered Director Program, an intensive individual examination, and have met the other requirements to become a Chartered Director (C.Dir.)
The Directors College and the Collège des administrateurs de sociétés (CAS) of Université Laval have a reciprocal agreement, whereby their respective designations – Chartered Director (C.Dir.) and Administrateur de sociétés certifié (ASC) are recognized as equivalent.

Mr. George Trisic, C.Dir.
Senior Vice President, Shared Services, Algonquin Power & Utilities Corp.
George Trisic is the Senior Vice President, Shared Services for Algonquin Power & Utilities Corp. a TSX listed mid cap high growth utility with regulated and unregulated assets across Canada and the USA. In this role, he has responsibility for all shared services functions including HR, EH&S, IT and Procurement and works closely with the Compensation Committee of the Board of Directors of the Company to develop policy and governance structures for employee and executive compensation.
George began his career as a lawyer in Ontario initially in private practice and then as inhouse counsel. His experience as General Counsel spans multiple industries including real estate and hotel development, technology and global manufacturing.
From 2001 to 2012, his career was spent in Asia as part of a management team at Husky Injection Molding Systems that was successful in building the Asia business for Husky. His primary role was the establishment and build up of all business support functions across the region (HR, IT, legal, training, EH&S, finance and commercial) as well as the establishment of four manufacturing locations across China, India and South Asia. During his tenure the business grew fourfold and employee headcount increased tenfold.
A graduate of the Western Faculty of Law, George currently works and resides in Oakville, Ontario.
