Canada’s Chartered Directors
The Directors College is pleased to present Canada’s Chartered Directors. The graduates listed below have completed The Chartered Director Program, an intensive individual examination, and have met the other requirements to become a Chartered Director (C.Dir.)
The Directors College and the Collège des administrateurs de sociétés (CAS) of Université Laval have a reciprocal agreement, whereby their respective designations – Chartered Director (C.Dir.) and Administrateur de sociétés certifié (ASC) are recognized as equivalent.

Mr. Paul Hanna, C.Dir.
Executive Vice President Member Relations, Governance and Corporate Services, The Co-operators
Paul Hanna is the Executive Vice-President, Member Relations, Governance and Corporate Services for The Co‑operators. Paul is responsible for organizational governance with The Co‑operators Group Limited Board of Directors, its members, and its committees. He also provides leadership to corporate functions including government relations, human resources, facilities and procurement, legal, and sustainability and citizenship. Prior to his current role, Paul spent many years as Vice-President of Strategic Planning with The Co‑operators.
Paul has 25 years experience working in various operational and governance capacities. He currently sits on the boards of ICMIF/Americas, St. Mary's University's CMEC and the University of Guelph’s Advisory Committee to the College of Business and Economics, as well as The Co‑operators Community Economic Development Board.
Paul holds a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Western Ontario, a Master’s in Adult Education from Central Michigan University and he is a Chartered Insurance Professional.
