Canada’s Chartered Directors
The Directors College is pleased to present Canada’s Chartered Directors. The graduates listed below have completed The Chartered Director Program, an intensive individual examination, and have met the other requirements to become a Chartered Director (C.Dir.)
The Directors College and the Collège des administrateurs de sociétés (CAS) of Université Laval have a reciprocal agreement, whereby their respective designations – Chartered Director (C.Dir.) and Administrateur de sociétés certifié (ASC) are recognized as equivalent.

Vice President, CPA Western School of Business
Bob Gautama is a professional with expertise in strategic planning, financial management, program development and operations. Bob received his CPA, CMA accounting designations in 2006, after earlier completing a bachelor’s degree in Economics at Simon Fraser University and a Business Administration diploma from the BC Institute of Technology.
As a leader, Bob takes a collaborative, deliberate approach to leadership with a focus on consensus-building in order to achieve his and his organizations’ objectives.
During his career, Bob has served in management and executive roles in both for-profit and not-for-profit organizations, globally and domestically, including work in Canada, the USA, China and Mexico. He also worked as an independent consultant for 2 years, and developed a small-cap start-up company.
Bob’s board of directors experience includes terms on public (Government of BC) and private sector boards (social service agencies, mining). He has chaired or served as a member on a number of board subcommittees including Finance (Chair), Audit (Chair), and Governance, and as part of the executive committee as Treasurer. As a member of executive management Bob has engaged his own employers’ boards for several years, with a keen interest in governance models. Bob has also participated on advisory boards, including municipal government economic advisory and university academic advisory committees.
Bob has recently moved to Calgary from Vancouver, where he resides with his wife and daughter.
